Elimination flow
Adds tension for five or more players.
- Each round, the first player to empty their hand is safe; the last player still holding cards is eliminated.
- After an elimination, reshuffle and continue until only two players remain for the final duel.
- Optional hybrid: record the point value left in hand when you are eliminated as a penalty score for overall placement beyond elimination order.
lightbulbPro strategy
- check_circle
Avoid the "last with cards" trap: When several players are close to empty, sandbagging can backfire — you want out early, not stuck holding a bloated hand.
- check_circle
Clarify redeal & seating: After each cut, confirm whether seats rotate or stay fixed so eliminations feel fair.

SurvivorStackVariant“We only run elimination with 6+ — at five players one bad round feels too swingy.”
Scoring for placements
If you record penalty points on elimination, see the scoring mode page for value tables.
