Calling "UNO"

When you have exactly one card left, you must say "UNO" before your turn ends. If another player catches you first, you draw two cards as a penalty.

lightbulbPro strategy

  • check_circle

Watch the discard pile: Track color and rank pressure so you always know which exits are still live.

  • check_circle

Time your wilds: Use Wild and Wild Draw Four when they maximize color control or defense — not only when you are empty of the current color.

  • check_circle

UNO is a habit: Call it the moment you play your second-to-last card so you never donate free draws.
